Are you looking for purpose in your life as you approach or enter retirement and want to remain active and healthy?
Starting a new business venture or social enterprise is not just for the young. Older people who need a change, want to keep making a contribution or out of financial necessity can make great entrepreneurs. However, they may need some assistance.
Would you like to contribute to the success of other older people who may be starting on their own new business or social enterprise journey?
If so, have you considered becoming a Mentor and share your wisdom, life and business experience with those less experienced that have a need or interest?
If you are a locally based, passionate business person - retired or still active, who wants to see our community and economy prosper, then why not become a Seniorpreneur Mentor?
Mentoring isn’t just useful for the person you’re assisting it’s great for you too... providing that purpose and satisfaction of helping someone and making a difference to their lives.
Share your knowledge and expertise and be that trusted sounding board to help the other person see the bigger picture and grow their business by assisting to identify desired outcomes, opportunities and avoid risks by supporting them in their decision making process.
The Seniorpreneur Program forms part of the broader GRCC Social Mentoring Program.
Social mentoring involves primarily listening with empathy, sharing experiences and developing insight through reflection offering general support and encouragement a couple of hours a month in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
