Why not become a GRCC Community Mentor?

Do you want to make a difference by sharing your wisdom and life / business / community experiences to support people / groups in our communities to develop local responses to challenges and opportunities that matter to them?

If so, have you considered becoming a GRCC Community Mentor to support those less experienced that have a need or interest?

Community mentoring primarily involves listening with empathy, sharing experiences and developing insight through reflection, offering general support and encouragement in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

You can share your knowledge and expertise and be that trusted sounding board to help the other person see the bigger picture and grow their idea, project, business or social enterprise. You can help develop good processes, identify opportunities and desired outcomes, and avoid risks by supporting them in their decision making.

Community mentoring isn’t just useful for the person you’re assisting it’s great for you too... providing that purpose and satisfaction of helping someone and making a difference to their lives.

If you are a locally based, passionate person who feels they have the life, business and / or community experiences to see our community and economy prosper, then why not become a GRCC Community Mentor?

If you want to know more contact us at millpark@solution4u.com for an information and FAQ sheet or contact our GRCC Master Mentor David Wells on 043 344 2820 for more information.
