Great Regional City

Activating the Greater Launceston community to make Launceston: One of the Great Regional Cities of the World.

Launceston is on the move: economy improving, City Deal (UTAS relocation, City Heart, Northern Suburbs Revitalisation), Launceston Together platform, CLIP process.

Greater Launceston Plan focusses government on creating a creative, liveable, diverse and connected/networked region.

Peter Rathjen (also Chamber of Commerce) say Launceston could be “one of the great regional cities of the world”. The opportunity is to challenge the wider community to help make this Vision a reality.
